Recreational Land in Texas For Sale
Most buyers shopping recreational land for sale in Texas are looking for one of a few things: a place to hunt, a weekend escape, somewhere to build a cabin, or just rural acreage to enjoy with family. Our current inventory covers all of it. Tracts run from around 10 acres to over 200, spread across Blanco, Bell, Bosque, Fayette, Gillespie, Hays, Llano, and Travis counties.
For hunters, we look closely at habitat. Whitetail deer, dove, and turkey are the staples in this part of Texas, and the better tracts have real wildlife management plans behind them, dependable water, and fencing that holds up. Some of our current properties are game-fenced. Most aren’t, and that’s fine for a lot of buyers. For weekend retreats, the appeal is usually privacy, views, and a good build site. Stock ponds, wet-weather creeks, and elevation changes show up regularly in the inventory and tend to drive what buyers fall for first.
Worth knowing: a number of our Hill Country recreational tracts already qualify for agricultural valuation through wildlife management, beekeeping, or grazing, which keeps property tax costs low even when the land is held purely for personal use. We also help owners structure hunting leases, packaged hunts, and habitat improvement programs if revenue from the property is part of the plan.
